We have two Doctors of Optometry at Five Points Optical Center. Dr. Vaughn P. Witt owns this office and has been practicing optometry in the area for over twenty-five years. Dr. Allen Crisp joined the practice over a year ago. After practicing optometry for four years in the San Antonio area, he and his family returned to Corpus Christi where they grew up. Both Dr. Witt and Dr. Crisp recently attained their certifications of Glaucoma Specialist. This level of licensure enables them to provide you with the best quality vision care possible. A Doctor of Optometry is a healthcare practitioner trained to diagnose signs of ocular, neurological, and systemic health problems and treat vision disorders. In addition, therapeutically licensed optometrists treat eye diseases and injuries, prescribe medicine and perform other procedures such as eye foreign body removal. Optometrists are specialists in prescribing glasses and contact lenses.
