William Allen Crisp, O.D. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University at College Station in 1992. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry in 1996. Dr. Crisp has been at Five Points Optical Center for the past 10 years and he holds a special interest in contact lens fitting and ocular pathology. When he isn't in the office Dr. Crisp enjoys spending time with his two children and all of their sporting interests.

Alfredo V. Castaeda, O.D. was born and raised in Robstown, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 2004. His initial assignment as an optometrist was as a Captain in the US Army serving 4 years on active duty including deployments to South Korea and Iraq. He is currently licensed by the Texas Optometry Board with certifications in Therapeutics and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Castaneda's prior experience includes published research at the University of Texas at Houston Ophthalmology Department as an undergraduate, as a clinical amblyopia research assistant in Houston, clinical rotations with emphasis in ocular disease and primary eye care at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, and as Chief Optometrist for the 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

A Doctor of Optometry is trained to examine, diagnose, treat and manage disorders that affect the eye or vision. Optometrists specialize in prescribing glasses and contact lenses to provide the best visual acuity possible. In addition, doctors of optometry have the education and training to diagnose the ocular manifestations of diseases that affect the entire body, such as diabetes and hypertension. They also are qualified to evaluate their patients for surgery when appropriate and often manage their patients' care pre- and post-operatively.

Dr. Witt, Dr. Crisp, and Dr. Castaeda are interested in your lifetime of vision. Please let us assist you with all of your eye care needs.
